An EPS block moulding machine test run before shipment
A test run before shipment is the last thing that happens to an EPS block molding machine in our factory, and it is the step that decides whether the machine arrives ready to produce or arrives ready to be repaired.
What the test covers
In the test workshop at Jiangyin Youxin Foam Plastic Equipment Co., Ltd, every machine built for export is run before it leaves. The engineering team takes it through a full sequence:
- No-load running — every axis, door, valve and sensor is cycled with the mould empty, checking that movements complete and interlocks respond
- Load running — the machine produces actual blocks, and density, fusion and cycle time are measured against specification
- Overload running — the machine is pushed past its rated setting to confirm the frame, steam system and safety devices hold
The point of the overload stage is not to prove the machine can run there, but to prove it has margin where it normally runs.
Why this matters to the buyer
A machine that has not been run is a machine whose problems will be discovered on your floor, with your operators, on your schedule. Commissioning faults found after installation typically mean waiting for parts and for a technician — weeks of downtime on a line that was supposed to be earning. Faults found in our workshop cost us a day.
It also means the block quality is verified before shipment. Density consistency, fusion and surface finish are checked on real blocks, not assumed from the settings.
What the buyer receives
Together with the machine, customers receive the test records, operating documentation and the commissioning support needed to bring the line into production. Our engineers handle installation supervision and operator training so that the handover is a working line rather than a delivered crate.
Recent shipment
The machine shown here was shipped to our customer in Kazakhstan following its test run. Machines of the same series are running in Europe, Japan, Australia and Southeast Asia.
