EPS Wrapping Machine for Shape Products in Brazil
Client & Project Background
Macrotem Indústria e Comércio de Produtos Termoacústicos Ltda, based in Campina Grande do Sul (CICAMP), Paraná, Brazil, manufactures EPS shape-molded packaging. As order volumes grew, the company needed to automate the final bagging stage of its molded products.
Challenge
Bagging was done entirely by hand. Workers had to use bags considerably larger than the products themselves in order to slide them in — a slow, labor-intensive process that also wasted a large amount of film on every batch.
Equipment Supplied
| Equipment | Qty |
|---|---|
| EPS Wrapping Machine for Shape Products (6-side PE film) | x 1 |
Results & Benefits
After replacing manual bagging with the automatic wrapping machine, packing efficiency roughly doubled. Because the machine wraps each product tightly on all six sides — instead of forcing it into an oversized bag — film consumption dropped sharply, cutting the bag cost on every unit shipped.
Implementation Timeline
- Contract signed: November 2025
- Equipment shipped: March 2026
- Arrived at factory: April 2026
- Commissioning completed: May 2026
Client Feedback
Asked whether the new machine had improved their packing efficiency, the client answered without hesitation: “Yes, a lot.” Their film consumption has since risen to the point where they are planning larger film orders to keep the line running at full output.
