The YouXin Automatic EPS Silo System manages the critical aging and material-handling stage between the EPS pre-expander and the block molding machine. After pre-expansion, EPS beads must age to stabilize internal pressure and moisture content before molding — the silo system provides controlled storage while automating all material transport.
How the Silo System Works
Expanded beads from the pre-expander are pneumatically transported through galvanized pipes (DN200 or DN250) into the silos. Each silo is equipped with one inlet pipe and one outlet pipe. Level sensors monitor bead quantity and the PLC controls pneumatic valves to direct material flow automatically.
Automatic switching: When one silo is full during feeding, the system stops feeding that silo and automatically switches to the next available one. When one silo is empty during discharge, the system stops drawing from it and switches to another silo — ensuring continuous, uninterrupted production.

- Frame: Square steel pipe for structural strength
- Body: Nylon net (anti-static) for breathability and bead stabilization

Integration
