YouLi EPS Cutting Line works in Australia on Nov. 2024
In November 2024, a YouLi EPS cutting line went into production at ACE Polystyrene Co., Ltd in Australia.

What the line includes
The installation was supplied as a complete cutting line rather than a single machine:
- EPS block tilter — turns the moulded block onto the required face so it can be entered into the line without manual handling
- Horizontal cut with automatic wire setting — slices the block into sheets, with all wires positioned from the touch screen in minutes
- Vertical cut unit — trims the four sides of the block to square edges before sheet cutting
- Cross cut unit — cuts sheets and blocks to length
- Scrap recycling system — collects the trim and offcuts and returns them to production
The number that matters: 2 m/min
The line reaches a cutting speed of 2 metres per minute. Speed on a cutting line is not only about the wire — it depends on how fast blocks can be presented, trimmed and removed. That is why the tilter at the front and the scrap system at the back are part of the specification rather than optional extras: a fast horizontal cut fed by hand is not a fast line.
For the customer, the practical effect was a large increase in cutting throughput without adding a shift.
Why a complete line rather than separate machines
Buying a horizontal cutter alone is cheaper on the invoice and more expensive in operation. Each manual handoff between stages costs time, needs an operator, and risks damaging the block. A matched line keeps one continuous flow and lets one or two people supervise the whole process.
Configuring a line for your plant
The right configuration depends on block size, the thicknesses you cut and whether you need shaped work — the last one points to adding an EPS CNC cutting machine. Send us your block dimensions and daily output and we will size the line — contact us.
