EPS Mixer Machine — Accurate Virgin / Recycled Bead Blending for EPS Plants
The YouXin EPS Mixer Machine is a complete bead blending unit that combines virgin EPS beads with recycled beads at a controlled ratio before they are sent to the pre-expander or block molding machine. It helps EPS producers cut raw material cost by reusing production scrap while keeping bead quality and density stable across every batch.
How the EPS Mixer Machine Works
The unit carries two independent silos — one for virgin material and one for recycled material. Each silo feeds a rotary valve at the bottom. By adjusting the rotation speed of the two valves, the machine sets the blending ratio, keeping recycled content between 5% and 50% of virgin material. Both materials merge at a shared outlet and are then blown through the conveying piping to the next stage of the line.

Dual Silo Design — Mesh and Cloth
The virgin bead silo uses a mesh construction (2500 x 2500 x 5500 mm), while the recycled bead silo uses a cloth construction of the same size. The mesh silo lets air escape during filling so virgin beads settle without static build-up; the cloth silo contains the fine dust that recycled material carries, keeping the plant area clean.
Ratio Control & Automation
Blending ratio is set by changing the speed of the two rotary valves, giving the operator direct control over how much recycled bead enters the mix. Level sensors in both silos report to the PLC, which handles filling, switching and alarm logic automatically, so the unit keeps running without constant manual supervision.

Integration with Your EPS Line
The mixer sits between the recycling section and the pre-expander, and works together with the YouXin EPS Silo System and pre-expander machine. Conveying piping is supplied with the unit, and the electrical panel with PLC is delivered pre-wired for connection to your plant supply.
